Please proceed as follows:
Step 1:
As usual, submit a disposal request with the items to be disposed of to Department 4. Tick "Sale via the Sustainability Office" as the disposal proposal.
Step 2:
As soon as your application has been approved, the Sustainability Office will contact you to clarify the next steps. If your items are suitable for sale by customs auction, the Sustainability Office will handle the auction. Fifty percent of the money raised will be credited to your area, provided the proportionate proceeds are higher than 50 euros. The remaining 50 percent will be invested in sustainability measures.
You are responsible for ensuring that
- the items you wish to sell are still in working order or that information about defects is passed on to the sustainability office
- the IT equipment is cleared of all personal data (the Sustainability Office provides advisory support)
- the Sustainability Office receives a description of the item, which is provided as information in the auction
- the items can remain in your area until the auctioneer collects them (in exceptional cases, for example if there are a large number of items, the Sustainability Office will organize a storage facility in cooperation with Campus Logistics)
