Living Lab project and theses
One of the core tasks of the Sustainability Office is to act as an intermediary for "Living Lab topics" and to network real challenges of sustainable development at RUB with committed students and supervising chairs.
A living lab (or "living laboratory") is an approach to research and development in which real environments and users are actively involved in the innovation process. The aim of a living lab is to test new technologies, concepts or services in a real context and develop them together with users. This approach is particularly common in areas such as urban planning, mobility, energy efficiency and healthcare.
