University groups and initiatives
At Ruhr University Bochum there are various associations and initiatives that pursue the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the local level. Through the sustainability office there is a regular exchange with these initiatives. The respective organizations are responsible for the content on the linked pages.
Enactus
Enactus stands for the entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurial), the will to create (action) as well as the commonality in action and values (us). The Bochum group develops various sustainable projects.
Fridays for future / Students for future Bochum
The Bochum group Students for Future is part of the climate strike movement and draws attention to the climate crisis.
NABU University Group Bochum
The Bochum NABU university group raises awareness for environmental protection and nature conservation on campus.
Scientists 4 Future Bochum
The initiative Scientists for Future Bochum was founded in November 2019 and consists of scientists who are committed to sustainability and climate protection.
youngperspectives.ruhr
As a student think tank with a focus on sustainable transformation, youngperspectives.ruhr wants to contribute to a green and just change of society. The competencies from various courses of study are carried into consulting projects with municipalities and institutions in order to proactively shape the region with innovative ideas.
